LAUNCH OF ECO POD SPACE

As a result of the strong demand for small office space at the Pump House, Shrewsbury’s new Environmental Technology Centre, an innovative concept the Eco Pod has been launched.

Aimed at environmental companies who are part of Shropshire’s environmental technology business cluster, fully serviced and furnished workspace will be offered on a flexible licence without any legal costs or long term commitment.  It will be particularly appealing for new businesses and satellite offices as all inclusive rents start from only £225 plus VAT a month for a one-person workstation.  Companies will also have use of a meeting room and other common facilities.

The Technology Centre is under construction with completion expected in early 2008 and it will create some of the UK’s most sustainable office space.  Commented David Griffiths, Destination Shrewsbury Manager “The availability of Eco Pod space will make it easy for individuals to quickly sign a licence, plug in their laptop, connect their telephone and start operating immediately.  Most of the building is already pre-let and we expect a strong interest in this space.”
